Stutso Baked Beans


1 can Kidney beans
1 can Black beans
1 can great white northern beans
one large can bushs baked beans, home style or country style
1 lb sweet Italian sausage cooked
1 1/2 chopped cooked bacon
1 large onion cooked in bacon grease and drained
1/2 to whole red pepper small diced and cooked. You can cook it with onion. 
3 tbsp Mustard
3 tbsp A1 sauce
2 tbsp BBQ sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses.
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt ( seasonall)
1/4 tablespoon pepper


Put in big dish, covered for first hour at 350, and stir every 15-30 minutes. Then cook uncovered for 1 to 1/2 hours, stirring every 15-30 min to make sure it doesn't stick. 
Make sure you drain bacon sausage and onions very well so beans aren't overly greasy.

Oreo Balls


Ingredients:
  • 1 package of Oreos
  • 1 package of softened cream cheese
  • 1 package of white candy coating
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional: for drizzling over the oreo balls)

Pulverize cookies.
Mix cookie powder with cream cheese
roll in to 1.5 inch balls
Melt white candy coating. coat each ball and then place on wax paper to cool.
Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over hardened balls.


Peppermint Bark


for 1 pound of candy:

2 cups (12oz.) White Morsels
24 hard peppermint candies, unwrapped

Line baking sheet with wax paper.  
Melt morsels in medium, uncovered, microwave safe bowl on medium high (70%) for 1 minute, stir.  Morsels may retain some of their shape.  If necessary, microwave an additional 10 to 15 second intervals, stirring until just melted.  
Place peppermint candies in heavy duty plastic bag and crush using rolling pin.  
Holding strainer over melted morsels, pour crushed candy into strainer.  Shake to release small candy pieces; reserve larger candy pieces.  
Stir morsel-peppermint mixture.  
Spread mixture on prepared baking sheet.  Sprinkle with reserved candy pieces; press lightly.  
Let stand until firm, about 1 hour.  
Break into pieces.  
Store in airtight container at room temperature.

Puppy Chow




This would make a fun Christmas gift for friends, and the children can assist me.  It seems to be all the rage these days among the kids, ya know. :P


Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/3 cup peanut butter
    • 9 cups Corn Chex or 9 cups Rice Chex
    • 4 cups powdered sugar

Directions

  1. In a large sauce pan, melt together butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.
  2. Stir until all is evenly distributed and all is completely melted.
  3. Measure out chex into a large bowl.
  4. Pour chocolate mixture over chex and fold until all the chex are completely covered in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Put powdered sugar into large paper bag.
  6. Put chex into the bag with the sugar and shake until all chex are covered.
  7. Add more sugar as needed.
